Pearse remakes Emmett

Pearse

It has been approx 4 months since my last video post and my little baby Canon remains very much underused.

However, it has been used. A few months ago myself and Ciaran headed to the Gardens of Remembrance (where once upon a time I nearly caught the 98FM Fugitive…) with Pearse McGloughlin, his guitar and his lovely soft voice.

We managed to get a couple of takes done before being politely asked to leave by the ‘park keep’ and thankfully the mic didn’t pick up the drunk screaming French who loitered just around the corner.

A few things were learned on this shoot. In freezing weather, wear gloves or the camera will shake. Get some form of tripod. Polaroid film is expensive (the below is my last shot). Make sure there are no bugs caught between the camera lens and the adaptor. Those of you with HD screens may see a little tiny insect on your screen. Do not attempt to crush, it is part of the process now.

Here’s Pearse performing the lovely IT HURTS TO LOSE YOU by Emmett Tinley.

Here is a fantastic original work by Pearse.

And last but not least, here is the original version of ‘IT HURTS TO LOSE YOU’ by Emmett Tinley from a live show in Whelans shot by the very talented Myles O’Reilly.
